As you select items, a variety of messages will appear at the very top of the screen. Click items on both sides to select them for trading. This will take you to a trade screen where you will see your goods on the left and the traders goods on the right. To trade, click on the trade icon next to the trader.
To access other traders, a survivor must scavenge at that trader's location (see table below). Every so often-after several days have passed-a traveling trader named Franko will show up at your shelter's front door and offer to barter. Traders will barter goods with your survivors.
